About

The Graduate Certificate in Public Policy provides focused training in the frameworks and skills needed to create evidence-based, community-centered policy solutions. It is designed for professionals who want to deepen their policy expertise without committing to a full master's degree, as well as graduate students in other fields who want to add a policy credential to their existing program.
The certificate can be pursued as a standalone credential or in conjunction with another UNM graduate degree. Students choose between two tracks: a General Track (12 credits) providing a broad foundation in policy analysis and program evaluation, and a Quantitative Track (15 credits) for students who want to develop stronger statistical and analytical skills.
