Graduation Checklist
Follow these steps to graduate. Before doing anything else, inform Carol Anda that you intend to graduate so that you are added to the graduation list for your desired semester.
Step 1 — Submit Your Program of Studies (POS)

Step 2 — Register for PUBP 501-002
In your final semester you must register for PUBP 501-002, the Policy Report section of the Policy Seminar. This is the 1-credit course in which you will complete and present your Policy Report. Contact Carol Anda at canda@unm.edu if you have trouble locating the section in the course schedule.
Step 3 — Assemble Your Committee
Your committee must be assembled at least two months before your exam date. Every MPP student's committee includes the following three members:

| Community Member | Must be approved by the UNM Graduate School before serving |
Once your committee is assembled, complete and submit the Master's Exam Committee Form.
Step 4 — Schedule Your Exam
Schedule your exam at least two weeks before the deadline for your graduation semester.

Step 5 — Announce Your Exam
You must submit your official announcement of exam at least two weeks before your exam date. Contact Carol Anda at canda@unm.edu for instructions on how to submit the announcement.
Step 6 — Report of Exam
The MPP Director will submit the Report of Exam no later than two weeks after your exam date. No action is required from you for this step.
