Kris was born and raised in Albuquerque and spent some of his high school years living in Kewanee, IL. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2025 with a dual degree in Political Science and Philosophy, with a minor in history. During his undergraduate studies, he worked on (and won) several political campaigns around New Mexico, and was a part of the team that secured Tim Keller public financing in his 2025 mayoral re-election bid. Kris now serves as a District Legislative Aide for State Senator Angel Charley. He is interested in electoral politics and policies, and good government reform. In his free time, you can find Kris cooking, watching a movie, or spending time with his dog, Augustus.
