Bio:
Paul Mondragón serves as the President of Bank of America New Mexico, a role in which he oversees the bank's operations and commitment to the region. In addition to his leadership as President, he is also a Senior Commercial Banker with over 25 years of experience in the banking sector. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the delivery of credit, treasury, and other banking solutions to a diverse portfolio of commercial and corporate clients across New Mexico.
Deeply committed to civic leadership, Paul is actively involved in several organizations that support economic growth and community development. He holds significant board positions, including serving on the Board of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, where he was the Board Chair for 2024. His community involvement currently extends to other notable organizations such as the Albuquerque Community Foundation, Economic Forum of Albuquerque (past Chair), the New Mexico Banker's Association, and most recently Leadership New Mexico. Paul also serves on the Community Advisory Board for the UNM Masters of Public Policy Program and the Albuquerque Museum History Advisory Committee. He also worked to establish the New Mexico State University Rugby Alumni Association.
A graduate of Leadership New Mexico’s Core Class of 2009, Paul earned his degree in Economics from New Mexico State University. A lifelong Albuquerque resident, he lives there with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer and is a passionate supporter of Liverpool Football Club and New Mexico United.
Paul previously served on the Community Advisory Board from 2023-2025.
