**UNM MPP Alum**

Hallie Brown serves as the Deputy Director of the Local Government Division at the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, where she provides executive leadership for programs that support New Mexico's municipalities, counties, and tribal governments. Her portfolio includes Next Generation 911, local budget and finance oversight, legislative grants and capital outlay management, local DWI program administration, and federal grants management.

A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Hallie has more than seven years of experience in grants management, public policy, and government finance across nonprofit, municipal, and state government settings. She is committed to strengthening the capacity of local governments to effectively and equitably manage public resources.

Hallie earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of New Mexico and brings extensive expertise in public administration, federal grants compliance, and local government finance to her work.
